Beautiful Eterna-Matic gents watch from the mid the late 1949 or possible 1950. This watch is fitted with the first automatic caliber family of Eterna. This makes it one of the first Eterna-Matics gents watches Eterna produced. This watch has a stainless steel case with a beautiful arranged dial. Champagne colored dial with applied gold colored indexes has developed a rich patina. The watch is in used but good condition. The crystal is clear without but has some minor scratches or marks but nothing that cannot be buffed out. The Eterna 1249T Automatic movement runs and keeps time. The service history is not known. For every vintage watch without service history I strongly recommend a service if you are planning daily use. The case has a stainless steel screw in back and is signed: Eterna Watch Co Swiss Acier Inoxydable A The original crown is signed with the 5 point Eterna logo. The case measures 35x44x10 mm excl crown. Het Lizard leather strap is in worn condition and measures 21 cm length. Please have a good look at the pictures as they are part of the description.
