Couple of Atauro statues from the independent East Timor in the Sunda Islands of the Indonesian Archipelago.
The man carries twins in his arms and the mother carries the eldest son. The woman wears a small and very worn ikat loincloth. The Modigliani Cubist-style of these statues make them highly sought after by collectors.
